Welcome to LIFLIF, a delivery and logistics service platform. By accessing or using the LIFLIF app and associated services (collectively referred to as the “Services”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

1. Definitions

  • User: Any individual or entity using the LIFLIF app to request services.

  • Vendor: A business or service provider using the LIFLIF platform to offer goods or services.

  • Deliveryman: An individual contracted to deliver goods on behalf of vendors or users through the LIFLIF platform.

  • Platform: Refers to LIFLIF mobile apps, websites, and any associated interfaces.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.

  • By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into a binding contract.

3. Account Registration

  • To use certain features, users must register an account. Users agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

  • Notify LIFLIF immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Obligations

  • Use of Services: You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all local regulations.

  • Payment: Users agree to pay the charges for services rendered, including delivery fees and vendor fees, as outlined in the app.

  • Prohibited Activities: Users are prohibited from engaging in fraudulent activities, misusing the app, or violating any applicable laws.

5. Vendor Obligations

  • Vendors must ensure that all products or services offered on the platform are legal, accurate, and comply with all applicable laws.

  • Vendors must fulfill orders in a timely manner and maintain the quality of products or services as described on the platform.

  • Vendors are responsible for providing accurate delivery information to ensure successful order fulfillment.

6. Deliveryman Obligations

  • Deliverymen are responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of items to users.

  • Deliverymen must comply with all local traffic laws and regulations during deliveries.

  • Deliverymen are independent contractors and not employees of LIFLIF.

7. Payments and Fees

  • Users will be charged a delivery fee, which may vary based on distance, time, and other factors.

  • Vendors may be charged a service fee based on the volume of transactions.

  • Payments for services are processed through the LIFLIF payment gateway, and all fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • User Cancellations: Users can cancel orders within [X] minutes of placing the request. Cancellations after this time may incur a cancellation fee.

  • Vendor Cancellations: Vendors are required to inform the user promptly if they are unable to fulfill an order.

  • Refunds: Refunds for cancellations or issues with services are provided according to LIFLIF’s refund policy.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

  • LIFLIF values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

  • Users agree to the collection, use, and storage of their personal information as outlined in LIFLIF’s Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

  • LIFLIF reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms.

  • Users or vendors may terminate their account at any time by contacting LIFLIF customer support.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • LIFLIF’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law and excludes any indirect or consequential damages.

  • LIFLIF is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury caused by a third-party vendor or deliveryman.

12. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through arbitration, rather than through court proceedings, in accordance with the laws of Kenya.

  • Users and vendors agree to attempt resolution through mediation before seeking arbitration.

13. Modifications

  • LIFLIF reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. You will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
